Firefly Mobile Partners With
Brightstar Corporation As
Exclusive Distribution & Logistics
Services Provider

CHICAGO, Ill. – March 10, 2005

Firefly Mobile, Inc., a leading developer and innovator of mobile phones and services that uniquely address the needs of underserved customers, today announced that it has selected Brightstar, a leading wireless industry logistics and supply chain management company, as a preferred partner. Brightstar will be Firefly’s distributor and provider of fulfillment services for Firefly mobile phones and line of Firefly accessories to select network operators, retailers and resellers of wireless service. The agreement between Firefly Mobile and Brightstar covers the geographic regions of North America, South America and the Caribbean, with future partnership opportunities outside of the Americas.

The partnership announcement comes on the heels of Firefly Mobile’s recent launch of the Firefly mobile phone in the North American and Latin American markets through a variety of wireless network operators. The company also announced an agreement with Target to sell Firefly phones in their stores nationwide in July.

The Firefly phone will have its first public showing at next week’s CTIA show in New Orleans in the Brightstar booth, 6544, hall G from March 14-16, 2005.

The Firefly phone is the first and only mobile phone explicitly designed for Tweens that satisfies parents’ concerns about unrestricted phone use and monthly costs. The Firefly phone is a pioneering voice-only phone designed for the smaller hands of kids aged eight to 12 years old. With just five keys instead of a regular dial pad, parents use a PIN to program up to 22 outgoing numbers into the phone, including speed-dial keys for Mom and Dad. The patented Firefly phone lights up like a firefly when in use and intermittently when in standby mode. It is about the size of a small pocket calculator and weighs two ounces.

"We are delighted to announce our partnership with Brightstar and to benefit from their extensive distribution network," said Robin Abrams, CEO of Firefly Mobile, Inc. “From the beginning, Brightstar has seen the market potential and enthusiastically supported Firefly Mobile’s focus on bringing the Firefly phone to market."

According to Marcelo Claure, CEO of Brightstar Corp., "Firefly Mobile’s vision is to supply parents and their children with the right product at the right time."

Claure continued, "There are few true innovations in the wireless technology arena that can provide significant lifestyle improvements with an entirely new product that creates a new product category. We believe Firefly is one these innovations."

In 2003, Brightstar created its Emerging Technologies division to assist in identifying, developing and marketing unique products and services that improve consumer access to wireless products. The division is comprised of market analysts, business development professionals and product experts that work to provide network operators with access to innovations they can help drive to market.
