For the Original Firefly Phone:
Firefly Mobile Service customers
If you purchased your phone from Firefly Mobile through our website, or a major retailer, you can activate your phone by following the instructions on the card entitled "Get Going with your Firefly Phone!" which came with your Firefly. It generally takes 30 minutes for your Firefly phone to activate. During peak periods (such as weekends), your activation may take up to 2 hours.
Please wait 30 minutes then turn your phone off and back on again. You will see "firefly" on your screen. If you see "No Network", it means your Firefly phone is not activated yet.
Other wireless service customers
If you purchased your Firefly phone from a wireless carrier, the carrier will activate the phone for you. After the phone is activated, the name of your wireless service provider will appear on your screen.
If your phone says "No Network", your phone is not activated yet. Please contact your wireless carrier for help.
For the glowPhone and flyPhone:
Follow the instructions on the front of the Quick Start User's Guide that comes with the phone and go to the firefly web site and activate online, registering your account and choosing your plan. You will receive a phone number at the end of the activation process. It's simple, easy and takes only a few minutes!
Once you have received a phone number and finished the activation process. You can turn on your phone and watch the display screen. It will show "Registering..." as it searches for the network. Once the network is found, it will display the "Firefly" name in the display. This means you are on the network and ready to make calls.
If the "Registering..." goes away, and the "Firefly" name does not appear, give it a few minutes, to allow for the activation process to complete and try again.
